Description

Pickle It Liquid is a leading product within the category of pickling chemicals.
 
Pickling chemicals are generally used to remove the marks left by welding. It is effective on all metals, and particularly stainless steel. Stainless Steel welds are passivated, which secures a protective coating and reduction in chemical post-cleansing activity. Treated stainless steel of all grades is returned to its natural lustre.
 
Pickle It Liquid is particularly effective for pickling stainless-steel welds. Pickling is the removal of heavy, tightly adherent oxide film resulting from hot forming, heat treatment and welding.

Directions for use

Dilutions: 1 part to 10 parts water.

  1. Ensure that the metal to be treated is cool before applying Pickle IT.
  2. Apply to the surface by spray, brush or dip method.
  3. Allow a dwell time of 40 to 50 minutes; longer if stains prove to be resistant.
  4. Rinse with water while agitating with a non-metallic brush.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 if required.

Note: It is recommended that a test is performed on the material to be treated to gauge the reaction and suitability of the dilution.
