Description

Silicone Dissolver is a superior cleaning solvent formulation used to remove silicone from all types of glass, metal, tile, wood or masonry surfaces. It is ideal for difficult cleaning jobs where high performance is required.

Silicone Dissolver is the best way to remove old silicone sealant and prepare the site for new silicone.

If mould is still evident after reapplying the silicone, the use of our Algae Died B to treat the affected area is recommended to completely eradicate all traces of mould and algae.

Directions

Dilution is not required.

Removal of silicone from surfaces
Apply by spray or brush.
Allow to dwell for at least 30 seconds.
Remove silicone and excess remover with a cloth, using a scraper where necessary.

Replacing mouldy silicone
Remove any excess silicone with a sharp knife.
Lacerate the remaining silicone before applying. This will accelerate the process.
Apply by spray or brush.
Allow to dwell for at least 30 seconds.
Remove silicone using a scraper and cloth.
Treat the area with our Algae Died B to kill mould and algae.
Allow the area to dry thoroughly.
Reapply silicone.
