Aqua Repello

Description

Aqua Repello is a next-generation water-based penetrating sealer for concrete and similar masonry materials. As the name suggests, it has been developed to repel water, although repelling oil was also a major criteria in its design brief. As such, Aqua Repello is ideally suited to concrete driveways, factory floors, sandstone paving etc. Aqua Repello is easy and safe to use. Its non-flammable, non-toxic, low odour characteristics make it ideal for both internal and external use. 

It works by penetrating the substrate and tightly bonding to the parent material. Once cured, Aqua Repello provides an invisible barrier to water and oil, and yet does not alter the appearance of the treated surface.

Importantly, Aqua Repello does not adversely affect the slip-resistance nature of the treated surface, nor does it degrade with UV light or wear off in high traffic areas.

It is important to treat new surfaces with penetrating or topical sealers as soon as possible after laying. Concrete and similar surfaces are very susceptible to staining from organic and inorganic sources. 

Sealing older and damaged surfaces

When considering the treatment of older stained or damaged surfaces, it is important to get them as clean and as close to their original state as possible. To assist in this recovery process we suggest the following products:

U-Beaut: General cleaning agent that will ensure that light oily surface contamination is removed allowing Aqua Repello to properly penetrate the surface.

UBC:  Strong water-based decreasing agent. Ideal for removing or reducing oil and grease stains. Not only are these stains unsightly, but they will also reduce sealant penetration.

Efflorescence Removing Solution: As the name suggests, this product will remove efflorescence and help restore the surface’s original look.

Tile Clean: A stronger cleaning agent than Efflorescence Removing Solution and useful where light surface staining is quite widespread.

Concrete Wash: Heavy-Duty acid-based cleaning agent for spot cleaning of stubborn stains and for cleaning large sections of soiled concrete such as heavy traffic public footpaths.
