Description

Algae Died B is a highly effective algaecide concentrate that is considered a leading algae killer amongst algaecide chemicals.

Algaecide chemicals used by Australian Councils

Councils up and down the Australian east coast choose Algae Died B because it is a safe, effective and easy to use algae killer. These councils regularly use it to clear slipways, clean ocean swimming pools as well as a multitude of other algae and mould cleanup tasks.

See the ‘Testimonials’ tab above for details.

Algae killer for driveways, paths and other masonry surfaces

Algae Died B is also popular with, and widely used by, people wanting to clear and maintain hard surfaces such as paths, driveways etc. It is a popular choice as it does not harm plants and grassed areas.

For long-term maintenance of hard surfaces, use in conjunction with a penetrating sealer such as our Shield It.

Easy to use, and effective algaecide concentrate

Algae Died B is also easy to use as it will readily foam which enables it to stick to vertical surfaces for longer than a simple spray. As a result, this lingering foam increases the contact time with the algae. This increase in contact time improves its effectiveness as an algae killer on uneven surfaces.

The foaming effect is best achieved with a foaming gun, such as a Lafferty Foaming Gun

Highly versatile algae killer

Algae Died B is a versatile algaecide concentrate that can be used to control algae, mildew, mould and bacteria wherever they grow. Effective on slipways, concrete paths, painted surfaces, natural and artificial grasses.

Algae Died B is an economical algaecide concentrate

Algae Died B is a true concentrate. In some cases it can be used at a dilution rate of 1 part Algae Died B to 100 parts water.

See the ‘Directions for use’ tab above for use and dilution details.

Testimonials

Sutherland Shire Council

Sutherland Shire Council contacted Chemron with a slip problem due to a build-up of algae on our boat ramps and our rock pools.

Chemron provided a demonstration of their product Algae Died B which when foamed onto the surfaces successfully killed the algae using a non-hazardous formula.

After application, we found that the return of the algae was significantly reduced requiring less cleaning. We were very happy with the demonstration and the performance of the product in each application. The before and after photographs speak for themselves, an excellent product with easy application.

I would strongly recommend Chemron Algae Died B to people who need to provide Algae free non-slip surfaces.
