Bird Ban repels common nuisance birds such as pigeons, mynahs and sparrows without harm them.

This well-known bird deterrent is a non-acidic, non-toxic long-lasting weather-resistant clear and near-invisible coating.

Bird Ban products don’t harm the birds, instead, its tacky consistency makes birds feel uncomfortable when they stand on it. As a result, it discourages them from roosting and nesting in that location.

Use wherever birds are a menace or health hazard: outdoor cafes, food courts, building facades, ledges, roof beams, sills.

Description

Bird Ban Liquid and Gel are both bird repellent products that don’t harm the birds.

Both these products are non-acidic, non-toxic coatings that are clear and are almost invisible to the naked eye. They repel common nuisance birds such as pigeons, mynahs and sparrows without doing them any harm.

Bird Ban is a tacky formulation that is uncomfortable for birds to stand on. This discomfort discourages them from perching, roosting or nesting, which in turn prevents their highly acidic droppings from damaging and contaminating property.

For best results, we recommend you use our Bird Droppings Remover to clean the affected area before you apply either Bird Ban product.

Directions for use

Bird Ban Gel

Dilution: Do not dilute.

Initial Application:

  1. Clean the surface to be treated, including removing bird dropping build up.
  2. Ensure the surface is dry before applying. Apply a thin layer using a putty knife or similar to level surfaces that will not exceed 40°C.
    Avoid applying the product within 10mm of the edge.
  3. Clean up with a solvent cleaner.

Reapplication:

As this product is exceptionally tacky, it will collect dust and other debris from the environment. This contamination can reduce its effectiveness over time.

  1. Use a putty knife or similar to scrape off the contaminated product.
  2. Use a solvent cleaner to remove any product that has spread into the 10mm edge area.
  3. Reapply the product in accordance with the Initial Application instructions.

Note: The product may be used on mildly sloping surfaces and in areas where surface temperatures could exceed 40°C; however, there is a risk of some unwanted spreading.
