Citrus Oil Formulation is a biodegradable heavy duty degreaser.

A genuine, all-natural heavy duty degreaser

This is one of those rare products that is a genuine heavy duty degreaser with a formula that consists of naturally derived compounds. These compounds include the likes of d-limonene, modified coconut extracts, and several others. D-limonene, for example, is derived from the oils found in citrus fruit skins; what could be more natural than that?

No harmful acids,  caustics, petroleum or chlorinated solvents

Importantly, Citrus Oil Formulation does not contain harmful acids,  caustics, petroleum or chlorinated solvents. 

Pleasant, and easy to use degreaser, and cleaning solvent

As you would expect from a heavy duty degreaser, Citrus Oil Formulation cuts through stubborn and hardened contaminants like fats, oils and greases. But that is not the end of this products uses, this versatile product can easily clean up other common problems. For example, gum, bitumen, wax, paint, ink, most adhesives, soap scum and a host of other contaminants are easily dealt with. And because of Citrus Oil Formulation’s high d-limonene content, it leaves a pleasant citrus fragrance.

Although this heavy duty degreaser is a solvent, it does emulsify with water, and therefore can be easily rinsed off.

Safely used Citrus Oil Formulation on food processing equipment

When maintaining food processing and manufacturing equipment it is critical to use products that, if they find their way into a food product, wouldn’t trigger a costly recall.  Machine lubricants and sealants immediately come to mind, but residue from chemical cleaning products can also be a problem. 

Citrus Oil Formulation is safe for use in food processing equipment and in commercial kitchens.

Directions for use

Dilutions:  Product is ready to use.

Cleaning of surfaces

  1. Remove any loose contamination.
  2. Apply using a mop or low-pressure sprayer.
  3. Agitate the surface with a soft bristle brush where necessary.
  4. Allow to dwell for 5 minutes, but do not allow to dry.
  5. Thoroughly rinse the area with water.
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 if required.

Grease trap or clogged drains

  1. Pour product into the grease trap or clogged drain.
    The amount will vary with the application and outflow of the drain.
  2. Allow 20 to 30 minutes of contact time and flush the line through with water, preferably hot water.
  • To mitigate future issues, a maintenance dose should be made to each drain leading to the grease trap.
