Descale It is a chemical descaling compound for boilers, condensers and piping.
It is a powerful, penetrating chemical concentrate that rapidly dislodges and dissolves scale, corrosion, limescale, mineral deposits, sludge and other organic contaminants.
Ordinary water is used extensively throughout a variety of industries. However, as it evaporates, it can leave unwanted solids and mineral deposits. These deposits create sludge and fouling problems. In addition to these concerns, oxygen in water is a major cause of rust.
Descale It is specially formulated to be fed through water systems to clean internal surfaces and restore water flows and efficiency. It flushes clean with water, leaving no toxic residue.

|1. Drain boiler system.|

|1. Drain all treatment from entire system.

|2. Flush boiler and its system thoroughly with water. ||2. Flush with fresh water.
|3. Fill boiler to operating level. ||3. Fill tower to operating level and begin operating system.
|4. Add 1 part of Descale IT for each 2.5 parts of water. ||4. Add 1 part of Descale IT for each 2.5 parts of water in
|5. Raise the temperature of boiler water to 50oC.|
DO NOT EXCEED 60oC.
5.1 Open Manholes and Hand-holes to vent gasses generated by the descaling process.
|5. Circulate tower water for 15 minutes.
|6. Maintain pH at 1.5 to 2.0 for 4 to 6 hours.|
6.1 Add Descale IT as needed to maintain pH at 1.5 to 2.0.
|6. Check pH of tower water. If pH is above 2.0, add more Descale IT to lower the pH to the 1.5 to 2.0 range.
|7. Drain system and flush thoroughly with fresh water.|
Continue flushing until the pH of the water flushed through the system is in line with the fresh water.
|7. Maintain pH of tower water in the 1.5 to 2.0 range for 4 to 6 hours by adding Descale IT as needed.
|8. If scale is still present repeat above procedures. ||8. Drain and flush the tower thoroughly with fresh water. Continue flushing until the pH of the water flushed
through the system is in line with the fresh water.
|9. If scale is still present repeat above procedures.
